Sun-printing with Plants
Instructor: Madelyn Gowler
Discover the magical intersection between nature and photography with this unique hands-on workshop. Instructor Madelyn Gowler will lead participants through the process of making phytogram prints. We will be composing flowers onto the surface of silver gelatin photographic paper to create haunting impressions of plant matter. All materials will be included, but participants are welcome to bring their own herbs, flowers or leaves.

Soft mist. Still water. A warm sunrise breaking through the fog. In this relaxed adult evening workshop, artist Myra Clarke will guide you step by step in creating a peaceful lake scene while learning how to capture the delicate effect of fog in watercolour. Beginners are warmly welcome, and all materials are supplied. Enjoy an adult beverage — perhaps a glass of sangria — as you paint, unwind, and ease into the beauty of a summer evening.

Hand-Built Clay Bunnies

Discover the joy of working with clay in this fun, creative, and beginner-friendly workshop! Using a clay roller, you’ll learn the basics of slab hand-building while crafting a pair of charming clay bunnies – full of personality and perfect for seasonal décor or gifting. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm and a love of making things by hand.
All supplies and tools are provided. Your finished bunnies will be professionally fired and ready to take home approximately 1-2 weeks after the workshop.

Botanical Studies in Gouache
Instructor: Stefanie Anne
Explore the versatility of gouache in this hands-on painting workshop focused on florals and greenery. Participants will learn how to mix and layer gouache to create vibrant, matte compositions inspired by plants found throughout the park. Working either in-studio or en plein air, depending on weather, you’ll be guided through techniques including painting with negative space to build shape, contrast, and depth. By the end of the session, each participant will complete a series of small gouache paintings, perfect for framing or transforming into unique, handmade greeting cards.
