Come celebrate Canada Day at Wasagaming Community Arts! Bring your kids along to participate in a scavenger hunt to win prizes and participate in some Canada Day themed crafts! We also offer face painting and games! All activities are free of charge and will be available from 10am until 4 PM.

We are also excited to welcome Irene Patterson to the front lawn of the WCA for a Canada Day Pop Up featuring her maple leaf art.

Irene is a Western Canadian artist who expresses her love and respect for both nature and her country by painting scenes on natural leaves. In more involved pieces, painted natural leaves are incorporated into larger scenes. The medium Irene uses is acrylic. She began focusing on "leaf art" in 1996 using a self-developed technique. Her work has a distinct quality that is appealing in its unusual format.
