CURATOR
Dive into a summer of creativity as the WCA’s 2024 Curator! We’re looking for a dynamic individual to help us coordinate FOUR exciting exhibitions this summer season. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with artists to help them craft captivating artistic statements; ensure the safe delivery, installation and storage of exhibition art pieces; and prepare buzz-worthy promotional material & exhibition events to get the community excited! This is a perfect opportunity for a young person to get hands-on experience in a not-for-profit gallery setting. Help us bring the our exhibitions to life this summer! ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Funded by Canada Summer Jobs, this position is open to young individuals (aged 15-30 years old)
Positions runs from May to beginning September 2024
Candidate needs to be located in (or able to easily commute to) Wasagaming, Riding Mountain National Park
Successful Candidate has experience hanging & installing art; good communication skills; is a good team player; has experience with social media and designing in Canva; has a high attention to detail and accuracy.

ADMINISTRATOR
Come join our team as the WCA Administrator this summer! We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to welcome visitors to the gallery, assist with boutique sales, and help promote/facilitate our incredible events, exhibitions and workshops! This is a great opportunity to embrace creativity and connect with our WCA artists — all the while supporting the gallery’s operations. Feel free to send us an email if you have any questions!
